CHARACTER PROFILE
Ellie Brown
playing as Millie Emily – MAIN CHARACTER
Millie
Emily is a defenceless teen girl who finds herself in the mix of a mass
murderers killing spree. Despite her being weak and defenceless she is strong
in spirit and determination. Her
character in this movie reflects what she’s like in real life which make the
role easy for her to play.
Jacob
Thompson playing as Jimmy Robertson – MAIN
CHARACTER
Jimmy is
Millie’s best friend and accompanies her throughout the movie helping her get
away from the murderer. Jimmy is the first character we encounter in the
opening scene of the movie where he is being stalked by bones, the mass
murderer.
Brooke
Donnelly playing as Bones – VILLAIN
Bones is a
skilled ruthless killer who is on a rampage and nothing can stop him as he
stalks jimmy and Millie till he eventually goes in for the kill. Brooke has a
psycho/killer personality which fits her into the part perfectly. The fact that
she is female and the villain is portrayed as a male doesn’t make her play the
role less efficiently as the villain is wearing a mask and the villains gender
isn’t significant to the role. This
shows that audience believe because a character is powerful and evil, they
presume they are male and when bones reveals their gender at the end of the
movie, this will shock the audience as I am going against conventions. I took a
conventional approach in relation to Propps character theory as I have a
villain and a victim and a helper, however I have no hero.
Nathan
Morgans and Charlie Page playing as Policeman/1 + 2 – EXTRA
Policemen
that comes to the rescue when Ellie is being stalked by the serial killer.
Beatrice
Ogunleye playing a Latisha Johnson -
EXTRA
Latisha is
the first victim (What we know of) of bones. The scene of her being murdered
shows the audience how ruthless bones is and really sets the element of horror
and scares the audience
I have done a character profile so when it comes to making my movie my actors know how to effectively portray themselves as their character when playing the role. it is important that i have a character profile as it always shows, what elements of propps character theory i have and who is portrayed as the villain/victim/hero. its also important that the actor is suited to the role they're paying.
